Security

At CTS, providing state-of-the art security systems is a natural extension of our core competencies in constructing telecommunications systems and networks. CTS handles design, installation, and testing of security systems for buildings, garages, and other facilities that require 24-hour monitoring. We build self-contained systems with site-based video monitoring stations, as well as network-enabled security systems that tie in to an existing local or wide area network and allow remote monitoring. Having an integrated security system such as this means that an IT or security manager can log on to the system from home, for example, and assess a situation before dispatching appropriate personnel to the building or location.

As with our other services, CTS technicians can handle the entire security project-evaluating the client's needs, designing the system, installing cameras and cabling, handling power requirements, setting up monitoring stations and/or linking the system to an existing network, and, of course, providing all necessary testing and documentation.
