Company News CTS Telecommunications and ESCO Technologies Project Group Merge December 2007—CTS Telecommunications and ESCO Technologies, both Setzer Corporation companies, have announced their plans to merge CTS’s private network group with ESCO’s education and corporate projects group. This merger will allow the company to provide a more focused project approach to the education and corporate market for audiovisual project services. Rick Setzer, President of CTS Telecommunications, is excited about the union. “The joining of these two groups will create the premier group in the area, combining ESCO’s knowledge of technology with CTS’s professional project management expertise.” The union of these two companies will allow ESCO to focus 100 percent of its time on growing its services providing communications technologies to its two primary markets—Acute and Long-Term Healthcare. Jerry Grove, President of ESCO Technologies, believes the merger is a win for both companies. “The demand for ESCO’s managed services has been tremendous. To meet that demand requires that we expand nationally, and we certainly would not be able to provide the focus necessary to successfully expand if not for the merger. Now I am confident that all of our education market customers will get the type of responsive service from CTS that they were used to receiving from ESCO." |
